When Wearing Navy & White to a Winter Wedding

Hi Ladies

This dress just ticks so many of our fashion boxes …. feminine trendy and the comfort level… the most important one…..

This dress from Badgley Mischka has a stunning 1950s silouette, structure in the bodice where you want it most … A sleeveless style with a rope detail on the collar . The waist is nipped in with a full 50s skirt with underlying skirt to create super pretty volume. print is the ultimate in dressing up this month, add a a twist of coloured for added interest. Here we added the lipstick MAC Taupe as a the shade of choice for this demure look. The lips are talking but in subtle tones. Accessories are minalimistic- earnings from Penneys , grey pearls and a faux crocodile belt with gold fastening chain from River Island.

The hat is from Bella Solla boutique Newcastle West , saucer style, in navy & white. Triple feathers on the crown of the hat create some must have details. This style is timeless and has seen a large resurgence in popularity this year on the fashion front, not seen since Lady Diana brought hats back in fashion. This S/S 16 was all about the hat width and clever use of colour. For this A/W 16 look out for  the saucer shape and a change to heavier rich fabrics. Then start to add some seasonal sparkle with the heels… Scalloped edging at the heel with metallic matchstick heels. Or add a little fur stole for some hot glamour shop a wide selection at or check out the cute stoles starting to arrive at Penneys.
